Eduardo Garcia Benito (dit Benito), spanish illustrator, is born in 1891 in Valladolid.
After studying at the San Fernando School of Fine Arts in Madrid, he received a scholarship from his hometown, which allowed him to come to Paris in 1910.
In 1913, he worked for Tolmer, then, in 1916, for Draeger.
These two founders represented French publishing excellence between 1910 and 1950.
